WORK EXPERIENCE

Editor (Feb 2008 – Current)
Responsibilities include editing and compositing packages and promotions for live broadcast. Packages range from 2-12 minutes in length and include heavy graphics and imaging work.
Additional responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and encode a segment of the live broadcast for Video-On-Demand
  • Upload videos to www.cn8.tv/backstage nightly.
  • Instructing interns in use of equipment and broadcast practices.


EF Tours/Go Ahead Tours, Boston, MA
Editor / Web Content Producer (Jan 2008 – Mar 2008)
Project involved the editing and animating of video and stills for placement on the web within Flash banners. www.goaheadtours.com. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Researched and purchased stock video and photographs to coordinate with locations visited in each tour. Videos and photos found for over 50 tours.
  • Evaluate quality and usability of footage from tours.


Center City Film & Video, Philadelphia, PA
Editor (Aug 2006 – Sep 2007)
Responsibilities included editing and compositing elements for a variety of Comcast, PBS, corporate and medical clients, including on-air promotions, instructional DVDs and video-on-demand programming. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Respond to daily changes in client scheduling requirements, while maintaining zero quality defects.
  • Media management, troubleshooting and testing new equipment.
  • Implemented quality control procedures for new video-on-demand programming.
  • Train interns to act as assistant editors, using a variety of hardware and software.
